I truly enjoyed reading, and studying through this Bible, and will be one of my main sources for doing my Bible studies.
Written in an easy to read version, type size is good, with and with the attractive hardcover, it will certainly hold up to much use.

Honestly,  I am inspired by and love this study Bible.

Notetaking Bible

The Note-Taking Bible contains the full text of the Holman Christian Standard Bible in a single-column setting. Abundant space is provided on each page to make observations, record insights, raise questions, and suggest to yourself additional exploration of the text. The Bible includes a 40-page concordance, eight four-color maps, a one-year Bible reading plan, presentation page, and an introduction to the Holman Christian Standard Bible.

This is a great Bible for those who love taking notes.  It comes with a sturdy cover,  and a good size so you can carry it anywhere and it can take the wear and tear of everyday use.
I enjoy the Holman version, it is easy to read and to comprehend.   This Bible is attractive and has the wide margins for notetaking, or for illustration, which is all the rage right now.
The only thing I would change is the font size.  It is smaller and hard to read for those with weak eyes.
All in all a good Bible.

Jilted

Jilted is the final book in the series "Mended Hearts".   In the novel Jilted, author Varina Denman has taken us back to the small Texas town of Trapp and we look into the life of Lynda Turner, who has struggled with depression, suicide and humiliation in church, to the point where she left and never returned since her husband Hobby left her and their young daughter  15 years ago.
Yet unexpected hope awakens when Clyde,  a local ex-convict shows a keen interest. As long-hidden secrets resurface, Lynda must fight for her emotional stability and for a life where the shadow of shame is replaced by the light of love. rape.   But what would the town say?   Will Lynda accept Clyde into her life?

Jilted tells of a woman who has lost the joy of living, a man determined to draw her back toward happiness, and a town that must—once and for all—leave the past where it belongs. It is a gentle reminder that all things can work together for good.So many lives are interwoven in this book and  it   brings closure to all the townspeople in the town of Trapp Texas. Turner has struggled with depression since her husband abandoned her and their young daughter fifteen years ago.

Jilted tells of a woman who has lost the joy of living, a man determined to draw her back toward happiness, and a town that must—once and for all—leave the past where it belongs. It is a gentle reminder that all things can work together for good. The author really brings Romans 8:29-29 out into real living life.

This book is well written, it really brings you into the lives of the characters.  It is full of romance, mystery, and God is always in the center of it.

I really enjoyed this final chapter in the Mended Hearts series. The entire series, as a whole, gave an in depth look into life in a small town. From those who spend their time focused on everyone else’s issues to those who feel that they are infallible, Denman nailed it.

This is one of those books you might want to tuck into your bag for the beach. A fast read, that doesn’t negate the depth of the characters. Entertaining from cover to cover, Jilted is a story that will stick with you in the best way possible.

Jaded is book #1 in the series As a child, Ruthie was shunned by the local congregation. Thirteen years later, Ruthie’s heart begins to stir when an attractive single preacher arrives. But their relationship is bitterly opposed—unearthing a string of secrets which threaten to turn the church, the town, and her world upside-down.

Jaded is the rare novel that is both love story between a woman and man ... and God and His church. Plunging deep into the waters of shame, forgiveness and restoration, it will resonate with every woman who’s experienced a loss of heart ... and a thirst for hope.

Justified is book #2 In a small Texas town ruled by gossip, Fawn Blaylock believes others are justified in condemning her untimely pregnancy. Stifled by guilt, she yearns for grace while the local football coach treats her with gentle respect.

Justified perfectly captures the rhythm and romance of life in a small town, telling the unforgettable story of a woman searching for renewal, a man looking beyond what others see, and a community torn between judgment and love. It is the unforgettable story of broken dreams, second chances, and relentless hope.

This is a good study Bible that gives the reader good habits to instill in their lives; written in an easy to read translation, with a good sized font for reading.
It   teaches about journaling, Bible interpretation, just to name a couple.

It has an attractive hardcover that will be durable and stand the test of time.  My only complaint is that there isn't any concordance, which in my opinion is valuable for studying the Bible.
