Afraid to take a stand for Jesus?
What would you do if asked to defend or recant your faith?
Discover how the apostles, as well as other historical believers, were equipped to take a stand and defend their faith. The book of Acts comes to life in Marta E. Greenman’s relevant Bible study and will strengthen you to overcome difficult circumstances in your own life.
Take an in-depth look at:
- The lives of Peter and John, and other first-century believers who answered their culture while standing firm for Christ in spite of persecution
- Little-known facets of the stories of pilgrim, William Bradford, Martin Luther and martyr, William Tyndale.
- The faith of heroes of the U. S. Revolution and our nation’s early leaders that shaped our great nation.
“For we cannot stop about speaking what we have seen and heard.” (Acts 4:20 NAS)
My Thoughts: This is a comprehensive Bible study that is not complicated or time-consuming. This study is broken down into 8 weeks with a small amount of study to accomplish each day.
At the beginning of each week (chapter) is an overview of what biblical truths that week’s studies will include and the applications you will learn. This is not only a good Bible study, but it also is a good example to help you learn to study the Bible.
This is a study to help us familiarize ourselves with the word and also to be able to speak boldly about God's word.
This is a good study for both single study or in a group situation, and one that all Christians should look into.
